Über den VPN-Zugang ermöglicht die Hochschule allen Beschäftigten und Studierenden einen weltweiten Zugriff auf spezielle Dienste um in Zeiten von Home-Office / Online-Lehre die Remote-Arbeiten bestmöglich zu unterstützen. Aus diesem Grund wurde eine komplett neue Infrastruktur im Februar 2021 in Betrieb genommen. Damit steht die neuste Generation einer VPN Software zur Verfügung, die Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS und Android unterstützt in den aktuellsten Versionen.

Mithilfe des VPN können Sie mit Ihrem privaten Rechner aus fremden Netzen eine gesicherte und verschlüsselte Verbindung zum Hochschulnetz der HFT Stuttgart aufbauen. Dazu können Sie Ihren Rechner mit Internetanschluss zu Hause benutzen oder Sie bringen Ihren Laptop mit und nutzen das Wireless-LAN (WLAN) der HFT Stuttgart. Durch eine VPN-Verbindung wird Ihr Rechner Teil des Hochschulnetzes und es stehen Ihnen damit Möglichkeiten offen, die Ihnen sonst nur an einem Rechner innerhalb der Hochschule zur Verfügung stehen würden.
You can establish a secure and encrypted connection to the university network of the HFT Stuttgart with your private computer from external networks using the VPN. For this purpose, you can use your computer with a internet connection at home or bring your laptop and use the wireless LAN (WLAN) of the HFT Stuttgart. Through a VPN connection, your computer becomes part of the university network, thus opening up possibilities that would otherwise only be available to you on a computer within the university.
Voraussetzung
- Sie benötigen einen VPN-Account an der HFT Stuttgart. Wenn Sie einen E-Mail-Account an der HFT Stuttgart haben, besitzen Sie in der Regel auch einen VPN-Account. Benutzername und Passwort sind identisch mit E-Mail / Moodle.
- Darüber hinaus benötigen Sie einen Laptop mit WLAN-Karte, wenn Sie an der HFT Stuttgart online sein möchten oder
- einen Rechner mit Internetzugang, wenn Sie zuhause arbeiten möchten.
Requirements

Die HFT Stuttgart bietet ihren Angehörigen zwei verschiedene Möglichkeiten an, per VPN in das Hochschulnetz zu gelangen:

VPN access options at the HfT Stuttgart
The HFT Stuttgart offers its students and employees two different ways to access the university network via VPN:
