Die Registrierung und Immatrikulation als Doktorand:in an der HFT Stuttgart

Gemäß § 38 Absatz 5 Satz 1 des Landeshochschulgesetzes (LHG) ist die Immatrikulation nach der Annahme als Doktorand:in erforderlich. Diese muss spätestens zwei Monate nach der Annahme abgeschlossen sein.

Die Immatrikulation erfolgt in 2 Schritten:

Schritt 1: Registrierung im Hochschulportal der HFT Stuttgart

Die Registrierung erfolgt über folgenden Link: https://campus.hft-stuttgart.de.

Für die Registrierung benötigst Du folgende Unterlagen in digitaler Form:

  1. den Nachweis einer hinreichenden Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB) 
  2. das Zeugnis des zuletzt erworbenen Hochschulabschlusses (ggf. Nachweis der Äquivalenzprüfung)
  3. den Nachweis über die Annahme als Doktorandin oder Doktorand des Promotionsverbands der Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften Baden-Württemberg (Annahmebescheid)
  4. eine Kopie der unterschriebenen Betreuungsvereinbarung
  5. den Nachweis über Studienzeiten
  6. 1 aktuelles Passfoto

Schritt 2: Immatrikulation als Promotionsstudierender an der HFT Stuttgart bzw. Befreiung von der Immatrikulationspflicht

Nach erfolgter Registrierung prüft die Graduiertenakademie Deinen Antrag. Sind alle Angaben korrekt und vollständig, erhältst Du von der Studentischen Abteilung weitere Informationen zur Immatrikulation bzw. zur Möglichkeit der Befreiung von der Immatrikulationspflicht.

Promovierende, die hauptberuflich an der Hochschule der Erstbetreuung tätig sind – das heißt, die über einen Arbeitsvertrag mit mindestens der Hälfte der regelmäßigen Arbeitszeit an der HFT Stuttgart verfügen – können sich gemäß § 38 Absatz 5 Satz 1, zweiter Halbsatz des LHG von der Immatrikulationspflicht befreien lassen.

Registration and enrolment as a doctoral candidate at the HFT Stuttgart

According to § 38 paragraph 5 sentence 1 of the Landeshochschulgesetz (LHG), enrolment is required after acceptance as a doctoral candidate. This must be completed no later than two months after acceptance.

Enrolment takes place in 2 steps:

Step 1: Registration in the HFT Stuttgart university campus portal

You can register via the following link: https://campus.hft-stuttgart.de

To register, you will need the following documents in digital form:

  1. proof of a sufficient higher education entrance qualification (HZB)

  2. the certificate of the last university degree obtained (proof of equivalence examination, if applicable)

  3. proof of acceptance as a doctoral candidate by the Baden-Württemberg Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (letter of acceptance)

  4. a copy of the signed supervision agreement

  5. proof of periods of study

  6. 1 current passport photo

Step 2: Enrolment as a doctoral student at HFT Stuttgart or exemption from the enrolment requirement

Once you have registered, the Graduate School will check your application. If all information is correct and complete, you will receive further information from the Student Affairs Department about enrolment or the possibility of exemption from the enrolment requirement.

Doctoral candidates who are employed full-time at the university of first supervision - i.e. who have an employment contract with at least half of the regular working hours at HFT Stuttgart - can be exempted from the enrolment requirement in accordance with § 38 Absatz 5 Satz 1, zweiter Halbsatz des LHG.
